Q1. Where is University College Dublin (UCD) located?
UCD is located in South Dublin near Ballsbridge, Ranelagh and Stillorgan.
Q2. Where can I find information about Intervarsities?
Information about Inter Varsity's can be found under the "About" Tab.
Q3. Do we have to sort our own accomodation?
Yes, information about various Hotels, Hostels and BnB's will be provided in an information pack closer to the new year.
Q4. How do we get from the sports complex to hostels/hostels to the sports complex?
You are to make your own arrangements, buses will NOT be provided during the competition.
Q5. Where can we park in UCD?
Parking on the Belfield Campus is free in some areas while others are pay and display. Free parking is provided close to the
Sports Centre however member parking is located outside the swimming pool for paying members which has strict enforced
clamping. More information will be provided sooner to the competition dates.
Q6. Is there an information point for during the event?
There will be an information point/desk located in the Colours Room which is located in the Cafe Sport in the UCD Sport Centre.
This will be managed by a member of the WSCAI during matches of the event.
Q7. Where will the Friday Night Social event be held?
We are hoping to organise a social event for teams who have been knocked out of the competition by the Friday on campus. Further
details to follow.
Q8. How do I pay for the toll bridge on the north side of the M50?
Q9. Am I allowed to drink alcohol at the event?
There is a strict NO ALCOHOL policy allowed during matches. Alcohol is only permitted in the sports bar on campus.
Q10. Do I need padlocks for the changing room lockers?
Each team will be provided a changing room for the duration of their match, though the room will be locked by a member of the UCD
Sport staff it is highly recommended NOT to leave valuables in these rooms.
