Format for WSCAI Intervarsities 2014
Dates: Thursday March 27th, Friday March 28th and Saturday March 29th 2014.
Host College: UCD Women’s Soccer Club
How the teams are broken down:
Intervarsities Cup – 8 teams – Quarter Finals
- 4 Cup Semifinalists from previous year
- Hosts
- 3 best teams from Qualifiers (held earlier in the year)
Intervarsities Shield – 4 teams (losers from above round)
- Losers of Cup quarters
Intervarsities Plate – 4 teams
- Next four best placed teams in from qualifiers (top 3 have already qualified, so this is for next level
down)
- Play in Plate semi’s
Structure of Competition:
Thursday
- Captains Meeting (Time TBC)
- 11am x 2 Kick offs
- 2.30pm x 2 Kick offs
Friday
- Captains Meeting ( Time TBC) for teams joining the competition at this stage
- 1pm Shield Semi finals x 2
- 11am and 2pm: Plate Semi finals x 2
- 2pm: Cup Semi Finals x 2
Saturday:
- 3rd/4th Place Shield and Shield Final – 10am
- Plate Final – 12pm
- Cup Final – 2pm
- Banquet 7pm
- Followed by presentation of Awards
